While you are in Acapulco you will want to visit The Fuerte de San Diego History Museum. This museum displays historical evidence of Guerrero. There are five main rooms displaying exhibitions in the pentagon shaped building. Each exhibition offers something different to see and learn. Learn about the culture long ago, learn about Yope Indians and more. Learn why the building was under attack and damaged in 1776. You can also learn how the Yope Indians defended the structure when they resisted a Spanish leader.
